BIOGRAPHY
I am a freelance drummer with over 20 years experience. I have performed with many different artists coving a variety of genres.
As a Drummer i love to perform at the highest level. My style tends to lean towards a Fusion / Rock feel with a sprinkling of Jazz and funk thrown in for good measure.
I use a variety of setups depending on the musical situation i find myself in.
I can read music and i have no problem playing to a click. I do love to play off the cuff and really let the mood dictate where the music goes and ultimately where it ends up.
Currently i am playing drums for a brilliant R.E.M. tribute act called STIPE.

The last studio session i worked on was with a rock band called DANTE FOX. I recorded the drums for their latest album that was released on the 24th November 2017 called Six string revolver.
I teach drums in a variety of places. In lots of different schools Primary, Secondary, Colleges and some special need schools too.
I also teach at world famous Nicko McBrains Drum One in Manchester.
I also work as a drum tech with a variety of artists including The Manic Street Preachers, Starsailor and Melanie C. While this prestigious occupation enables me to apply my love for all things drums at the highest level, it has also introduced me to some other fantastic musicians.

I really enjoy looking after drums and the hardware. Part of the fun for me is being able to strip down a drum to just the shell and work a little magic and put it all back together to making it sound magnificent.
